Nigel Pardo

About

Born in Gibraltar, Nigel Pardo KSG attended Prior Park and Carmel College in the UK and then the Gibraltar Grammar School. Nigel went on to read Politics and Economics before returning home to join the family business in 1976. Within a relatively short space of time Nigel recognised that the company's real estate assets were under utilised and put forth a proposal to redevelop these for residential use.

The success of the development was quickly followed by the acquisition of other sites that held the same potential, and by 1987 Nigel had joined with a consortium of like minded business people to form the Montagu Group and later branched out to launch the Gibraltar Land Reclamation Company. The projects undertaken by these two entities resulted in the creation of a real property market in Gibraltar and gave many the opportunity never afforded before to own ones own home.

Nigel diversified his energy into Land Projects Ltd in 2008 and this company was responsible for overseeing a number of major infrastructure works in Gibraltar right up until 2012 which saw the completion of the new Gibraltar International Airport and the Mid Harbour Housing. On a personal level Nigel Pardo greatly enjoys a number of sports and has been the President of both the Gibraltar Amateur Boxing Association and the Gibraltar Amateur Rowing Association and is currently the Secretary of the Diocesan Finance Council.
